The two major annual festivals in Lokoja Local Government are El-dir Fitir, El-dir Kabir, Good Friday Easter and Christmas. Also, Danko fishing festivals is another festival which showcases the rich cultural heritage of Lokoja people in the area of fishing occupation. Danko festival is also celebrated yearly.
