Ijumu Local Government is situated between Latitude 7/30 to 8/70 north of equator and between longitudes 5/45 to 6/15 east of the Greenwich Meridian line. It has boundaries with Ekiti State and Ondo State in the West, Edo State in the South and Mopa-Amuro Local Government and Okehi Local Government in the north.
